We have traveled to Greece, San Francisco, Cabo, Vegas, New Orleans, Texas. Oh, my goodness, South Carolina, North Carolina, Detroit, and we have been to so many places together. We have had so much fun, and we have really become the Ying and the Yang to one another.

Blair Critch is super detailed. Our strengths play off of one another and it’s been really awesome to have someone that gets you, you know that friend that just gets the vision and encourages you to dream bigger. That is Blair, and I know that you’re going to learn a ton from her about your business, and about life. She and her husband, Ryan, are the founders in creators of the Marriage Movement, and their idea is that couples can be better together, they offer free challenges and it’s especially good for entrepreneurs.

• And so that’s my biggest encouragement to all of you is, it’s good to constantly learn what’s new out there but merging together with what works for you and your team. For the people who are having success in our team, I have to be honest and say it’s not any of those things, it’s that their purpose is greater than the dollar sign. (05:44)

• To be totally honest, the biggest part is you got to have excitement first, you’ve go to be excited. Make sure that you’re passionate about the product or the service, or the opportunity that you’re representing. (12:20)

• She didn’t have anything to gain from me, she knew that her business wasn’t a match for me, but she’d always just send suggestions like, “Hey I saw this, I thought of you, you’d be really good at this”. Or, “How are your kids doing?” And that genuine connection just kind of kept us in each other’s lives. And I want you guys to think about that and then I also want you to think about…She watched us personally have an evolution as a family. (19:49)

• And she and I have been very consistent with our personal business, sometimes more than others. And now, we’ve realized going on six years in the business, how important that our personal space, for connection, creating content, having conversations and giving an invite is the most important part of your Marriage Movement business, is the most important part of your network marketing business. • We talked last week about focus blocks and Blair’s strength is structure, she thrives on structure. And when I say that, I used to think being spontaneous was this gift that I could think off the seat of my pants. It’s a good thing, but it also is an excuse for not putting the structure in my day. Hey, bosses, welcome back to episode number 34.

She and her husband Ryan are the founders and creators of something called ‘the Marriage Movement.

And their idea is that couples can be better together, and they offer free challenges, and it’s especially good for entrepreneurs.

The coolest thing about Blair is that she has a way of asking questions that always push you to really, really stop and think about, Okay, what if I looked at it from this point of view? And I hope that you have that friend in life and I know that you’re going to take away a ton from this interview.

Hey friends alright. I am so excited because I don’t know if you know Blair Critch, but we’ve been known to have the Beth and Blair show. If you’ve looked at some of the old YouTube videos, this is going to be a super…Blair doesn’t like when I’m unplanned, she likes things planned ahead of time, and we’re going to talk a little bit about that. She just has no idea what I’m going to be asking her. So, who is Blair? First of all, she’s a mom, she’s a wife, she’s a multiple seven-figure earner in the network marketing space. She is the person that sent me the text to tell me to take a look at the network marketing opportunity. We’ve worked together for six years.

Connection allowed us to stay in each other’s worlds and when the time was right for us to work serving, building community with your teams. We’ve got a lot of things to talk about. 

So, hi Blair.

This is Beth Top-dog Graves. That’s what she is on my phone.

Yeah, I took her phone and I changed the contact so that whenever I call it this be…Beth Top Dog Graves. And so, first of all, you guys, I want to just say that I’m so happy to have Blair here because when you have a mentor, someone who is… I feel like we’re engaging, we complement each other with our strengths, and we are able to create a lot of great things together. And so today, Blair, what do you think are the… When you look at what size of team have you built since 2014, how many thousands of people?

Oh my gosh, it’s such a great question. I think we’re over 20,000 promoters in our team, and I’d say 20% are active and work on their business, unbelievable. 

So, to grow a team of 20,000. Did you start off as like famous on social media or you like an influencer, when you started?

I mean, of course, No, not at all, no, actually, I’m just a Mom… And I would say I’m a connector, Beth is the ultimate connector, but I love people. So yeah, I knew people, but no, I wasn’t a celebrity. I wasn’t an influencer, actually was horrible at Facebook, and barely did anything on it when I started in this business in 2014.

So one of the things that we like to talk about is that there are a million different ads and people popping up saying, “Never talk to your friends and family post this, Don’t post this, do this method have this strategy, and people have all this chaos about how to actually build, not just to the top rank of the company, but what you’ve done is built to the top rank and helped others to do the same. You have 3 million-dollar earners in your downline and many multiple six-figure earners.

So, if somebody said to you, Blair, what is network marketing? Do I need to do all the crazy strategies, do I need to…what are the things that you see in your seven-figure earners or multiple six-figure earners, that are allowing them to have success?

Such a good question, okay, well, I have to address what you just said about all those different ads and coaches and trainings, and all these different things that are out there. Right now, I’m all about self-growth. I’m a retired kindergarten teacher, I went to school for education, I love education. I think that’s important, but I think it’s a lot like my first-year teaching where all of a sudden phonics was out, I started my first-year teaching. They’re like phonics is over. We’re going to use whole language.

And for those of you that are as old as me, you’re giggling, right now. And what I did was, as my first year, I was like, “I just went through four years of college learning phonics, I can’t just throw it out, but instead, I’m going to take what I know about phonics, I’m going to take what I’m learning about whole language, and I’m going to merge them together, right? And so that’s my biggest encouragement to all of you is, is good to constantly learn what’s new out there but merging together with what works for you and your team, for the people who are having success in your team, I have to be honest and say it’s not any of those things, it’s that their purpose is greater than the dollar sign.

They have a reason why they’re doing it, best reason started with one, and it’s completely changed over the last five years that she’s been in business, and that constantly happens to people, but their purpose is always bigger than themselves, or the dollar sign.

I absolutely love that. And one of the biggest things that you’ve done in my life, and the gifts that you’ve given to me is when I started, I was straight out, I think aggressively wanting to build a business, and did not even think for a minute that any sort of morning routine I remember using. And those of you that listened to this podcast know that I am all about my meditation, my devotion, my journaling, my gratitude.

When I started with Blair, I literally would just be like, put up my hand and say, that stuff is crazy. Blair, you had said, “You should really read this book Miracle Morning”.

So, you had that down and had already been doing family vision boards, and you and Ryan have this very…what I call an evolved personal development piece about you, but you sprinkle it on people to say, “Hey you should take a look at this”. So you still do this when I call you and I’m like, saying blah, blah, blah, and I give you the brain dump because you’re that friend for me, you always come back and you ask questions that force me to sit on a dock and look at my emotions from the outside. So, we’re going to shift gears from when you talked about the purpose being greater than the dollar sign.

How does somebody literally get out of… that hustle grind? Almost manic state of building the business and message, message, message, and nothing’s working? What are the shifts that you see in someone when they really dive into that personal development piece into the affirmations into the way they speak about their business, what are those things that you start to notice in their words and their actions and their energy, and you know, Oh, they have taken my advice, because I think you could probably notice a shift in me when you were like, “Oh she’s doing… She’s actually doing those things and you probably notice when I’m not.

Just like my family notices when I’m not, so I get it. Well, first of all, that was the nicest compliment. I actually got a little teary-eyed. Blair doesn’t cry. I’m kind of like made of steel or ice, so that was really, really sweet, that was honestly one of the best compliments I think anybody can ever give me, so thank you.

But honestly, I think the biggest thing that I notice when people take that shift is that their voice isn’t frantic when you talk to them, right?

There’s this sense of peace and calmness and also ownership. It’s like all of a sudden, they shifted from… I need you to move this, I need you to do this and do this, to this calmness of like I got this, this is, I’m going to help people with this, I have a purpose, I have a plan here, and it’s not always about the number or the amount every day, but it’s about the changing factor every day. I actually think it’s one of the greatest gifts of network marketing that I’ve gotten and listen Beth’s earned millions of dollars, I’ve earned millions of dollars, we’ve had amazing financial success in this business, in this industry, that we both honestly, probably never thought was possible. But the greatest gift that I’ve gotten out of it is that amazing development of myself and being able to constantly grow. And the average person leaves college and never reads a book again, and if they do, it’s usually just a fiction book but there’s nothing wrong with… But that just shows you where I feel like now we’re reading a book or two a month, we’re constantly learning evolving, and it’s fun, we’re using our brain and our heart and our passion, in such a different way than others. 

And you can see, you can feel that we haven’t been able to travel the last couple of months due to what’s going on right now, and I have to say, I miss being around other people from our team, from our industry because they have this life or… and a glow and happiness to them. That’s a little bit different than my local friends because it is an involvement that’s happened right? And you see that evolution and I think that most people don’t even know that’s part of the journey. They come in, they think, “Okay I can build this business. It’s a very inexpensive startup. I’m going to figure out how to hit that first goal.

So, it’s keeping the small steps, but over time and if you…we’re going to shift over to leadership, one of the ways that we’re going to shift this, we talked about I want to give a little summary of Blair, just being that person that constantly is not preaching and lecturing, but suggesting… Have you looked at this… Oh, this is a great book, or let’s look at that from her point of view and always getting you to take a deep breath and think, “look at it from a place of gratitude and looking at any situation that might be negative from ‘How can we learn, how can we grow and what’s the next step?’

So, that’s the first piece that I want you guys to take that away. The second piece is, and this is a whole another podcast, is making sure that your routines every day include your family, include your spouse, that your goals are around each other not just you, and isolation. We will record that whole episode, but I want to move to leadership.

And what we built together, I think, is truly exceptional extraordinary, and special, but from the very beginning, number one, personal responsibility we weren’t waiting on someone else to travel to a team or create an event or go live on Facebook. So, can you talk about what you notice in people that join a network marketing team and kind of sit back and wait, or those people that step up and start before they’re ready and show leadership? What are those qualities and how can someone listening, that is like, I want to do what Blair is doing? 

And from day one, yes, you are coachable. And we didn’t recreate. But from day one, there was leadership, right? Yeah, I think to be totally honest, the biggest part is you got to have excitement first, you’ve got to be excited, make sure that you’re passionate about the product or the service, or the opportunity that you’re representing. So, we were so excited. So that’s part of it. The other is we knew the kind of team culture we wanted to create from the very beginning. Because to be honest, we didn’t love the team culture in other things that we had both been, whether it was teaching, whether it was. I was in another direct sales company before this, there were things that I knew I didn’t want. And I think that you and I had talked about that from my day one, before we even signed up when we were about ready to push that button, and that was like I’m going to join you on this run, in this journey, we talked about how do we want this to be. What do we want to build? What we want to see on this team? And our biggest thing was we wanted to be about others, and we want it to be fun in a really awesome unity, and that’s something that Beth has created. I mean, if you guys are in her group, you know, it’s camp, right? That’s your heart and soul, and I’m like, sorority girl. So, we are like, we wanted to be like that. The way that I used to feel in my sorority in college, the way we used to feel when you go to summer camp, I never went to summer camp, like I’m heartbroken about it, Beth needs to hold camp people, so I can come… She won’t come unless it’s the Ritz you guys, she wants the sheets, don’t let her fool you. She already told me, “I’ll come visit.

I feel like we could find a 5-star camp… I’ll get you a decked out, one of those Air Streams, with a chandelier, a fuzzy rug, I’ll get that for you.

I need that, sounds amazing. Or one of those places in Arizona, that’s super plush. But anyway, I feel like that was a big part of it was being excited about the team culture, we were going to create and then the next part was taking ownership, like that said it was ours. If somebody was excited they were growing, we got on an airplane, and we went to see them, starting week two we started hosting calls where people could share what they were noticing on our product, and we were excited for them to share. We are excited for them. And again, it’s about having a bigger purpose. So, our purpose was, yes, to earn money, not going to lie that we both at the time wanted to earn a certain amount of money, we wanted to be top. We both are very driven people and so we were like… we want to be the top of that compensation plan fast, but it was also about… I need as many people as possible to hit these other bonuses. I want to see 20 people hit auto bonus and be able to say, it’s possible. Show people that it’s possible. And so that started with hosting calls and hosting Zooms and flying places, and when we did those things, it wasn’t about us. And this is a skill, I think that you and I learned along the way, and we both have helped each other with. So, I can’t take ownership over it, because you’ve taught it to me too, which is learning how to ask questions instead of just speaking to people. I love to train; Beth loves to train. We’re both honestly gifted in it, that’s why we became teachers originally, and we’ve learned how to ask questions, and set others up into leadership. So as soon as they start those things that we see that they’re taking ownership that they’re excited that they’re getting into it, we immediately put them into a leadership position. Hey, can you host this call? Can you host the Zoom?

Can you share what you’re doing for others? And I think that’s what builds a true team, that we have now… And I equate it to, if you think about this, and I call it a CEO shift in any business, some of the people listening have online coaching businesses.

And if you’re a mom and you’re listening, or Dad, do you sit around and wait for your neighbor to tell you that it’s time to cook dinner or your mom to call you and say, “Okay this is when the kids should go to bed”. You take a look at your family as a structure, you decide what time the devices get turned off, you create the structure. You’re the CEO of your family. And that was from the beginning. And with a family, many of us just get thrown into motherhood. And then you can be, decide what’s your mission, what kind of culture do we want… What are your core values, what’s your vision for this? And that’s what I want to encourage you today. If you have a team of one, a team of two, a team of three, what are you looking to create? How do you want people to feel? Do you want them to feel supported? Blair on her journey, to be very clear, when you come in, here’s your first step, here’s the communication plan, here’s what support looks like.

The big piece that Blair has taught me is, boundaries around time because support and network marketing doesn’t mean you get 24/7 texting at 2 o’clock in the morning.

I will very often say, “Hey I got something I want to talk to you about, and she’ll say, I can talk to you at one or two O’ clock. So there is a big planning component, this is going to be three parts, because we’re going to talk about, we’re seriously going to do this during the coronavirus we’re going to talk about how we both use our calendars differently, but effectively. And we’re going to also talk about how to have your family become a part of your success model, and how actually as Blair rose to the top of the company, how her family also evolved with her and Ryan started to have more success in his real estate business. They actually have a Marriage Movement. We’ll put that in the links.

Every network marketer, every online entrepreneur needs to have marriage support from Ryan and Blair. Literally they’re like my personal, like, “Hey I had to have this conversation. That’s a whole another topic, so I… and this is what I do, is jump all over the place. So, we’ve talked about leadership, we’ve talked about making the decision to be the CEO of your business, we’ve talked about being genuine and authentic.

What I want to talk about now is a question that you and I will, we talk about this often, that people will come to us and say, “I don’t want to talk to my friends and family about what I’m doing. So where do I find the people? And I often say, if Blair my friend had decided that was her approach, that would have been really, really, really crappy because I would have hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt. I probably, my life wouldn’t look anything like it is now, so someone that’s listening that’s like… I don’t have anybody else on my list. I want you to address this in bold Blair way, not in a politically correct way.

I’m literally sitting here, thinking about my first 20 people that hit our bonus, in our company. So, for us, that’s like the second or third rank probably for your company. And when I’m thinking about the first 20 that did that on my team, that I personally run, only two of them reached out to me, so that means 18 of them that I personally reached out to, two reached out to me, but that didn’t mean they were already getting touchpoints from me.

So, what I mean by that is, one of them was a nurse friend of mine, wouldn’t say, friend, she was an acquaintance, she was friends with one of my friends, she reached out to say, “Hey your friend, so and so, told me that that product’s really working great for you. How do I find out more information about it? Immediately got her on the phone with a validation call with my friend at least, who then shared with her more, and then boom, that’s how she ended up joining this in the business. So yeah, I didn’t personally call her, reach out to her, but it still was because I had reached out to somebody else. So, if you don’t reach out to people, how do they know what you do? And actually, here’s a good point, if you don’t want to talk to your friends and family about the product service or opportunity that you’re with, you might not be with the right company.

I know that he might sound harsh, but it is true.

I agree and here’s the other thing is, so I was with Blair, in, I did a very short-term Jewelry business, she was… She was very successful, and I realized that because of my insurance background, I thought I want consumable and renewable and I had said that to her at the right time, something will come my way. I really saw what could happen. I loved the community. We got to go on a trip together, and that’s how we first met were never lost touch with me.

She didn’t have anything to gain from me or offer to me, she knew that her business wasn’t a match for me, but she’d always just send suggestions like, “Hey I saw this, I thought of you, you’d be really good at this. Or, “How are your kids doing? And that genuine connection just kind of kept us in each other’s lives. And I want you guys to think about that and then I also want you to think about… She watched us personally have an evolution as a family, and she knew us before and she knew us after. So, if someone is on your mind, and you think this isn’t for them, what’s it going to hurt to ask? Would I have thought any differently of Blair who sent me the text that said, “Hey I’m calling you at 10 o’clock. I’ve got something we’re doing this together it’s awesome and Let’s go. And I was like, what I was in bed depressed I had gummy bear worms in my hair, literally I was crawling on brown carpeting that I couldn’t wait to replace, its first thing I replaced as soon I made enough money, and I just thought, Wow, she thought of me. And then watching the evolution and being able to call my husband and say, “Hey when she gets this million-dollar award, I’ve got these shoes I want you to buy for her. It’s like its relationship-driven, it’s a lifetime of friendships. Whether we were in the same company or not.

So that’s what I love about you. And if somebody’s thinking “I don’t feel that on my team. What are some things that, even with two or three people on their little team or even sidelines or if you’re a coach, you get a mastermind group, what are two or three things someone can do? So, they feel more connected, they feel more community they hit some goals together.

Yeah, well, I have to go back really quick to the not talking, to friends or family. I want to say one more thing which is, that’s where you start. It’s not who you know, it’s who they know, right? So, there’s nothing about asking to be a connector.

One of the biggest things right now is that companies, Fortune 500 companies, are spending money on Instagram influencers, and on regular everyday people, giving a referral code, etc., etc., because that’s how advertising is now. So, don’t feel like it’s weird. And here’s the thing, Beth said yes, I called her and said, and I really, I mean I always wanted to work with Beth. There was something about her that I just loved her energy, I love the way that she spoke, she was educated, she was fun. But I will tell you, we had kids around the same age, but I’ll tell you this, she wasn’t the only person I sent that message to.

I sent it to probably 30 people that month and only five jumped, okay, and out of those five, only one of them is a millionaire. And out of those five, three of them are still in the business with me, and two, just decided not to do anything. And so, their business tanks, right? You don’t grow it, it doesn’t grow.

But yeah, as far as team culture, the culture is the biggest one of, the biggest blessings about this. It’s fun, it’s exciting. You can create what you want to create, whether you have one person on our team now or 100, and you can change it because guess what we have evolved it over the last five years, we changed it, we shifted… We pivoted. It’s one of the blessings of what’s going on right now is, it’s a natural pivot during the pandemic. For you to create and the best way that you can do that right now, is to stop and focus. How do you want people to feel on your team?

What kind of culture do you want to create in your team?

What kind of books? What kind of podcasts do you want your team listening to? If this is the kind of podcast that you want your team listening to, then create that culture, be like, “Hey listen, let’s all hop on his Zoom once a week and do a podcast club. Instead of a virtual book club, do a podcast club, say, “Hey you guys, I want you to listen to Beth’s every week on Monday. This is a great one. And then let’s talk about it on Thursday night, grab some wine or a seltzer water, and join me. 

And I’ll come to the Thursday night. Just like Dave Hollis came to your Book Club, you guys, this is how you show up. Tell them about the book club and Dave Hollis, this is so cool.

So basically, when this whole pandemic hit, one of our other people on our team and I were talking, we were like, “how do we help women because they’re going to be stuck in their house whether they’re in this kind of business or not, people are going to be home, they’re going to be going crazy, they need to connect in community, what can we do to help? And we decided to do the Dave Hollis book. We thought, then they could maybe read it with their spouse. Its Rachel Hollis’ husband. It’s all about the 19 Lies That We Tell Ourselves That Stop Us. And so, we created this book club and we had everybody who was going to join us buy the book and tag Dave Hollis on Instagram when they bought the book, saying they couldn’t wait for the Virtual Book Club, right?

And then he started noticing it and re-posting our Instagram post, and so Kelly one of the other people that I’m doing it, which she reached out to him by Instagram message and said, “Hey listen, we’re having this virtual book club, that’s what you keep seeing, we love for you to stop by. We thought he would come like halfway through and answer some questions. He ended up popping on the first night to surprise everybody, just because he was so excited, first that all the people had even picked his book, but second for all the people who are doing things like this, so that’s culture created.

And I bet if you stop and look, you can think of, maybe it’s you or somebody else in your life who always plans the girls night, who always plans the family, hang out who always plans to get together, or the meet up at the park to play with the kids. Maybe that’s you, or maybe that’s somebody else, but that person is creating a culture. They decided what they wanted out of their life and they’re creating that culture for their family, for themselves, right?

So, it’s just like that, that’s all you have to do to have an awesome culture on your team.

Yes, and having that culture. Can I have a group that I meet with every Monday night from all different businesses? And we met at an event, and we stay connected and Jamie reached out and she said, “Hey do you want to get together for 30 minutes? I’ve got six other women. And we’re just going to talk about how we shift our mindset and we’re reading, we’re actually re-reading success principles together about doing one chapter at a time.

Then we’re saying, one action that we are going to take that is super scary for us, and then we’re coming back the next week, and talking about the results and we’re self-coaching each other. Have you thought about saying it like this? So, you can create a successful realtor, a successful Instagram influencer that’s using Instagram and create these environments. Read a book together. This is the evolution of your entrepreneurial journey, whether your network marketing or another business.

So, the last thing I want to talk about is the compound effect of consistency. And we have done this. Like you could see my finger right now, which you can’t. It’s kind of peaks and valleys of a hit cardio sprint. And her and I have been very consistent with our personal business, sometimes more than others. And now, we’ve realized going on six years in the business, how important that our personal space, for connection, creating content, having conversations and giving an invite is the most important part of your Marriage Movement business, is the most important part of your network marketing business.

If you think about getting people on board to volunteer at church that’s what you need to do. Is that daily piece. And we talked about that last week. So Blair, what does your… Give us a run down and this is going to be like the forward to the next episode that we’re going to talk about the calendar, give us a glimpse of what your calendar, even read today, what it looks like in a day for your business, how it looks for your personal business? I don’t know, go through from top to bottom because I know it’s in front of you. 

And I was thinking you said foreplay, how funny is that? I was like, “Oh my gosh, because she’s in the Marriage Movement, and they do get a little spicy over there.

Blair does not cuss or even say things like foreplay, so I’m like a little excited that you got to see the bad Blair side.

Okay, so literally I will tell you guys this, I love a calendar, I use passion planner or law of attraction, they are my favorites, and I do 30-minute increments, and I do it 30-minute increments because it’s literally how I work my business and I totally agree that your personal business, has to stay a priority no matter how long you’ve been a business. My husband is a real estate broker, and we were just talking about this two nights ago, because he’s been using this time to pivot and really get back to going and connecting with people that he met eight years ago, when he first started in this industry. And so, it’s important that we’re always spending a certain amount of time a day, and for me, it’s an hour, but I chunk them up in time is kind of like my workout. I hate working out, sorry guys. I don’t get that adrenaline rush from it. So it’s kind of like, if I break it up into two 20-minute sessions on my Peloton I can do it, but if I do one 45 minutes, I think about 100 reasons why I should get off that bike. And so, for me…

I’m like, “Oh I feel like they’re just talking to me like “Come on, go out there. But Blair was talking about a goal that she crushed, and she said, it came to me on the Peloton. And I was like, who was this woman? she’s like, the corona’s made her mind go crazy. She’s now quoting fitness, because she hates fitness. Okay, so let’s wrap it up with, what’s your calendar look like today? 

It’s literally, I had something every 30 minutes, but I also have time scheduled in there for going outside and reading my book alone, for 30 minutes. I literally have my two, 20-minute Peloton wrote on there, and I have my reach out, my follow-ups, my time with my team, we have a training session every Tuesday, Beth and I are leading and so there are things on there, but there’s also time that are blocked off to just relax. So, like tonight I’m going to sit on the couch and watch TV with my husband, it’s slotted off, that’s my time.

So, I think it’s important that you are structured, and that you’re fitting in when you’re going to do those things, but also having some downtime, you can’t be totally structured.

Yeah, and there’s a lot of things that we talked last week about focus blocks and Blair’s strength is structure. She thrives on structure. And when I say that I used to think being spontaneous was this gift that I could think off the seat of my pants. It’s a good thing, but it also is an excuse for not putting the structure in my day. So, when I literally sit down and do my blocks of time and I block it out and I have also learned from layer in terms of the communication, and messaging, that it is on my calendar, so I will someone might have to wait two hours to hear back from me, because especially in this business, you will drop all your glass balls you will have a family that is waiting outside your door starving because you have forgotten to buy groceries if you’re not taking care of the glass balls, the things that are most important.

So, we are going to wrap it up with… And I didn’t even warn her, she’s probably going to be like What… Okay, what is your favorite, if you were to have a dance party right now in your five best friends were with you, what song would you play first?

Oh, I’ve got to add that to my playlist. Okay, second question for you is, who would you help with 5 million, if 5 million was put into your account today? You couldn’t keep it, but you could help, who would you help? Where would that money go?

Gosh, it’s so hard because there are so many things that I’m passionate about and I absolutely love. But for me the biggest one is single moms who really need it to start up their own business or their own opportunity. I would definitely start some kind of grant for that.

That’s always my biggest one.

Isn’t that cool to think about? So Hey, you put it on your vision board because you’ll have 5 million dollars.

Totally, I totally agree, that’s an awesome one.

Okay, so what is your favorite? It can be a Bible verse, affirmation. Leave us with that and then we’re going to do a follow-up so you guys can learn all about, we’ll get right in on, because I really want to do the Marriage Movement with you and Ryan. Ryan and I are kindred souls, and you guys, we always say that I am more like Ryan and Blair is more like Don and so we kind of Yin and Yang, and so Ryan is super emotional and we can look at each other like, “Oh you’re awesome. And Blair is like…Come on, shape up here. And Don is like you need to have a schedule, that’s just unacceptable. It’s so funny. So, a devotion, something that people can take away. 

So, my biggest one right now is actually a Mark Twain quote. It’s ‘I worried my whole life about something that never happened’.

Oh my gosh, I want to drop the Mic. I worried my whole life about something that never happened. And how, right now, as you guys are thinking of this pandemic and you’re thinking, we talked last week about where do you want to be on the other side? And if you didn’t do that journaling assignment, and I don’t know if Blair knows about that journaling assignment, is to really dig into where do you want to be with your health, your business, your family, your home, and how do you want to show up for other people during this time? Where do you want to be on the other side of the CAN-demic, not the pandemic?

And that quote that Blair just said, if we would have known this was coming, we would have been worried for the last 25 years about what we were doing for immunity. What we were doing for our families and we’re surviving, we’re thriving we’re making things happen, and so with that, we’re going to end this episode and bring Blair back, and I just want to let you guys know as we close out that coming up. Yeah, one more thing I just want to share it. I actually learned it this morning from Dan Hardy, and it was really, it lines up with Beth’s doing with the CAN-demic. But think about this. He was talking to his 96-year-old grandmother and she said, “Oh this is nothing, are you kidding? Because when she was younger, she had gone through lots of tragedies. And the first one was WWII, for her husband, who was 20 years old, had to go and fight in the war, and she said, so right now we’re being called not to go to war, we’re being called to stay at home and what a blessing that is because instead, our children could be being yanked out of their homes and put on the front line and instead we’re being called to be at home. So, stop, yes, feel your emotions, feel what you’re feeling, but then stop and write down 10. things that, I know Beth is really big on this too. 10 things a day that you’re grateful for about this Can-demic. Because it is really, honestly, a blessing that we can do our part by staying home.
